Katrina Nielson

My major is criminal justice! Other than sigma kappa, I’m a part of Alpha Kappa Delta (sociology honor society) and I work at the box office! To me, sigma kappa is my home away from home. These are the sisters I never had, and I can always count on these incredible women to have my back.

It’s a place where I can smile freely and be myself and know that I am a part of something bigger.

Lexi Bowser

Vice President of New Member Education

I get to assist the teachers with their lessons and help the kids understand material. I’m also starting a psychology related internship fall 2018. Sigma Kappa has been a character builder more than anything for me. It has helped me mature through my early college years and brought me to so many people who have taught me how to be a better version of myself.

Abby Gray-Army

Vice President of Membership

I’m Abby Gray-Army, I’m an English and Communications co-major. My involvement on campus is pretty widespread; I’m Director of Volunteer Coordination for ASTEP at Albright, Layout Editor for the Albrightian, a POP for the class of 2022, House Manager for the Music Appreciation Affinity house for 2018-2019, I also work as the Library Media Services Assistant at Gingrich Library and as an Albright Ambassador. (my email signature is pretty excessive, I know). Sigma Kappa means everything to me. My sisters have shown me time and again how living out our values makes life better.

Madeline Kentner

Vice President of Scholarship

Hi I’m Maddie! I am a rising junior in the class of 2020. I’m a Biology major, but recently added a minor in Religious Studies! This summer I’m working in the Albright College community garden as an intern. We grow organic produce by creating our own compost and using no pesticides. I am also the VP of Scholarship of Sigma Kappa. Joining Sigma Kappa and taking a position on the executive council is something so special to me because it has helped me to grow! Sigma Kappa means the world to me because of the endless support and encouragement I receive from my sisters every day.

Emma Fenning

Vice President of Alumnae Relations

My name is Emma Fenning ‘19, and I am an English and Secondary Education major. In my free time, I enjoy eating, watching Netflix, traveling with my family and hanging out with my sisters! Along with being a member of Sigma Kappa, I am a former player of Albright College’s field hockey team, secretary of the Class of 2019 from 2017-2018, an Albright Admission Student Ambassador, Albright Athletic First Responder, member of Greek life’s honors society Order of Omega, and a member of the English department academic honors society Sigma Tau Delta. After I stopped playing field hockey, I joined Sigma Kappa, and Sigma Kappa created a new home for me at Albright. Sigma Kappa is a place for friendship, happiness, sisterly love, and laughter for me, and deciding to join a sorority, specifically this one, was one of the best decisions I made during my college career.

To me, this organization means always having a genuine friend, a study buddy, or just someone to binge Netflix with. It has brought me my second family, and that is an incredible, once in a lifetime, experience
